Jewish Museum

Located in St Kilda, the Jewish Museum of Australia illuminates Jewish life. Their education programs cover issues of identity, community, migration, multiculturalism and world religions – and reinforce Victoria’s stated commitment to raising young people who are able to engage positively in our multicultural society.

Virtual Incursion

Outline: Lead by expert Museum educators, live online incursions give students the opportunity to interact and ask questions.

They have a wide variety of modules available that can be tailored to suit age and curriculum needs, including sessions on:

  • Bar / bat mitzvahs

  • Our Calling Australia Home exhibition

  • Daily worship and the Jewish year

  • The St Kilda Hebrew Synagogue

  • The Torah
